Burns Computer Services Introduces iResultsTM tracking and results display service
Cutting edge iPad© and iTouch© technology now harnessed for on-site race tracking and results
Results can be searched by bib number or name onsite by volunteers using the iResults technology with an iPad or iTouch. These volunteers can display to friends and family what check points a participant has crossed and whether or not they have finished. All results can be branded with the events logo or the logo of one or more sponsors.
Released only one-week following the much-anticipated release of the Apple iPad, this software is a graphically-integrated solution with a huge “Wow” factor for participants and sponsors alike.
“It’s very cool for participants to be able to see their personal results displayed on a volunteer’s iPad or iTouch at the finishline, family reunion area, or any area the runners are gathered to recover, eat, drink and relax. The iResults come to them,” said BCS president Mike Burns.
The system gives races an even more high-tech, cutting-edge service to participants. BCS will work with existing timers at a site to integrate the live results with the software, so iResults is available to any event currently using RFID technology for its timing solution. BCS provides all hardware for the event, large or small.
If you are interested in leveraging this new technology, with your event, BCS is currently booking its systems for 2010 events. For more information, contact Mike Burns at (734) 665-7052 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
